Toto in OZ – Concept Trailer Experiment
I created a short concept trailer called “Toto in OZ,” a modern sci‑fi action twist on the classic Wizard of Oz. This version focuses on Dorothy’s daughter and was produced during the very early days of image‑to‑motion AI.
The trailer is intentionally rough and experimental—I built it to test emerging tools as AI first began transforming still images into moving sequences. The visuals were generated with Midjourney, animated using Pika Labs, and then edited together in CapCut.
Originally, I had a full five‑minute track for the project, but in the end, I chose to leave it out.
It’s choppy, raw, and very much an exploration of what was possible at the time—
